Slow writing for a noisy field, direct to your inbox.

Essays from the Journal, short notes from the Guidance library, and occasional reflections on crypto, learning, and the kind of work that quietly holds teams together.

If a dispatch does not help you think more clearly, it does not go out.

What to expect

What arrives in your inbox

Essays from the Journal

longer, more reflective writing on crypto, career transition, operations, and the habits of clear thinking.

Practical Guidance notes

short, evergreen, designed to be returned to.

Occasional research reflections

notes on what I am reading, what I am revising, and where I think the field is actually moving.

Notes for humanitarian and development readers considering a move

practical translations from sector experience into private-sector roles, written for people in the middle of a real transition.

Never

promotional content, forwarded third-party offers, sponsored mentions, affiliate links, or “just checking in” emails.

Frequency

Thoughtful updates, not inbox clutter. In practice, this means one to three dispatches a month, led by the work rather than by a schedule. If I cannot meet the writing bar in a given cycle, I would rather send nothing than pad the inbox of someone who trusted me with their attention.

Format

Plain text or light HTML. Images only when they carry meaning. Links only when they add something you could not get from the dispatch itself. A reply address that I actually read.

Why subscribe

Said plainly.

I do not want to publish just to add to the noise.

The goal is to send writing that helps people think more clearly, learn more seriously, and approach crypto with more discipline and less confusion. That is the whole offer: slow writing, carefully produced, on a field that usually does not reward either.

If a given week does not have writing worth your attention, it will not have writing from me.

FAQ

Questions, answered straight.

How often will I hear from you?

Roughly one to three times a month. Led by the work, not by a calendar. Some months you will hear from me twice, some not at all. The volume is honest.

Will you send sponsored or affiliate content?

No. No sponsored sections, no affiliate links, no forwarded third-party offers. If I ever change this, it will be opt-in and explicit.

What do you do with my email?

It is stored with the email service provider I use to send these dispatches. I do not share it, sell it, or use it to target ads. You can unsubscribe any time with one click.

Can I read everything without subscribing?

Yes. Everything is free on the site. The subscription is a convenience, not a paywall.

Is there an RSS feed?

Yes. The site has a live RSS feed. If you prefer reading in a feed reader, subscribe to RSS instead of email; both surface the same content.

How do I give feedback or flag an error?

Reply to any dispatch. The reply address is real, and I read everything that comes through. Honest feedback shortens my editing cycle.

If you prefer somewhere else

Other places the writing shows up.

Email is the primary channel, but the writing is also visible in a few other places.

If you do not want email, any of these will keep you in the loop. The site itself remains the primary home for everything.
